Last words are often meaningful because they must be brief, and therefore they are chosen with great care. Such are the last few verses of the book of Revelation. Having written down the visions and certified their authenticity, the Apostle John closed with a summary and clarification of the primary message of Revelation.
His final words include an invitation, an exhortation, and a benediction. And each of these calls for a response.
