What began as an innocuous trip to Rome turned into one of the most frightening experiences of the entire crew's lives. Luke provided an eyewitness account of the journey. He describes the scene as they set sail fro Caesarea, encountered the fateful storm, and survived the dramatic shipwreck on the way to Rome. Luke's description was not meant to be a day-by-day account of the journey. Rather, his record reflects personal observations.
