Every Christian faces the same challenge. Jesus has called us to be in the world but not of it (John 17:14–15). But our culture, which the Bible simply calls the world, is moving farther and farther away from the things of God. Satan, being evil to the core, uses the world to appeal to our base desires, to think and live as he would have us do. However, our challenge as believers remains: we must live faithfully before God in a world far from Him.
