Too often, our vision of the Christmas story is limited to a manger, with parents, child, and a few animals.

But what about those early months of the pregnancy, when people began to hear about Mary's baby? How did Joseph react when he found out his wife-to-be was pregnant? What must the strain of those months have been like, not only on their relationship but also on his social circle, his business, and his finances?

Joseph, bewildered at first, quickly realized the weight he would bear in taking on such a momentous task.
