The breaking of the seventh “seal” judgment in the book of Revelation introduces the next segment—the sounding of the seven “trumpet” judgments. As that seventh trumpet is sounded, the third group will occur in the form of “bowl” judgments that will be poured out on planet Earth.

As those take place, the closing days of that awful period of time will complete their course, climaxing in the great and ultimate battle between good and evil (Armageddon). We come now to the last and worst of the seven “trumpet” judgments, which signals God's answer to the familiar line in the Lord's prayer, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). That answer sweeps through the rest of this book as God finishes His powerful work of reclaiming creation from the wicked adversary and usurper, Satan.
