The world-impacting judgments of the future appear in the book of Revelation. They are predicted in three symbols: seals, trumpets, and bowls. There are seven of each that will occur during the dreadful tribulation period. The cataclysmic seal judgments are revealed in Revelation 6:1-8:6. The more intense trumpet judgments are set forth in Revelation 8:7-9:21 and 11:15-19.

In this message, we have come to the fifth of the seven trumpet judgments, where Satan unlocks the abyss and releases a host of demons who appear on earth in the form of locusts with scorpion-like tails that torment (but do not kill) earthly humanity for five months. The pain will be so severe people will long to die but will not be allowed to do so.
