It’s interesting that the first and fourth era of judgments are similar in kind. Each one resulted in a new, fresh, beautiful lifestyle, not known by those people who lived through that time. In the days of Moses, those who lived through the plagues (among the Israelites, that is) entered into a new land, under a new leader, to begin a new way of life as a nation. Those who live through the period of the Tribulation will enter into a time on this earth of fantastic, incredible peace, fulfilling God’s promise to Israel.
