Jesus said to people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.” (John 8:31)
Every time Jesus makes a statement, you know it's the truth. So, we remain faithful to His teachings, we are truly His disciples. But he goes on. He says, “You will know the truth.” Jesus doesn’t hedge on that fact.
In this world of habitual lying, false stories, and deceitful people, there is nothing that will give you the security you need like God’s Word and the Son of God Himself. Stay committed to the Bible and by doing so, you learn more and more what’s true. You'll find what often is embraced by even the majority, isn’t true at all.
