Nothing has the power to free us like the truth. It aids in our maturity as we speak the truth "in love," and once we know it and really embrace it we will be "free indeed."

Perhaps one of the reasons we are too hesitant to express our true feelings to another person is it may bring a measure of pain. Sometimes the truth hurts, though we share it tactfully and graciously. And because this is true, we should learn from Jesus who was never reluctant to speak candidly and honestly.
