How valuable it is to have models who inspire us. In the Scriptures, Isaac had his father Abraham. Moses had his mother Jochebed. Hebrews 11 is full of templates, models, and great lives to pattern our lives after. They inspire us. We all need models who inspire us.

Think about models who have inspired you, mentors who have instructed you, and friends who have supported you. Talk about the value of personal leadership! Now think about yourself as a model, inspiring someone else. How about as a mentor—who would be your mentee? How about a friend, someone you're there for even if you don't always agree with him or her.
